SDS Energy was formed in May 2006 as a dedicated Environmental Energy Consultancy. All our services are carried out by fully trained and chartered engineers, CIBSE Low Carbon Consultants, Licensed BREEAM Assessors and accredited Energy Assessors.

Our objectives

Independent measurement and benchmarking of building performance including fabric, services and people.
To deliver Low Carbon energy efficient buildings by providing overall responsibility for energy consumption and emissions, from initial design inception, through design and construction stages up to and including post occupancy monitoring.
To provide independent professional advice and leadership on all energy related matters to ensure Clients, Builders, Users, and Maintainers are fully focused on the considerable benefits of lower running costs and reduced carbon emissions realised through energy conservation.
To add value to the design team by providing early stage low carbon design advice and safeguards throughout design process to ensure energy efficient principles are maintained.
To ensure Clients meet the lawful requirements on energy conservation through Building Regulations when procuring new buildings or refurbishing existing stock, through provision of Co2 emission compliance calculations and Energy Performance Certificates.
To calculate organisations Carbon Footprint, benchmark against competitors and provide a programme of continuous improvement in order to reduce overall Carbon Emission from processes.
